Lizeka holds MSc (Med) Bioethics and Health Law and Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Biomedical Sciences (Hons) qualifications from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), South Africa.
She is a lecturer and programme head at the Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics, Wits University. Her research interests include biosecurity, public health ethics, research ethics and (substance) addiction.
